Why not serve something fresh this holiday season? Betty P. of Memphis recommends using a large roasting pan for this fruit salad as the recipe makes a lot. She also says this recipe goes great with ham!
- 1 pkg Lemon Jello
- 1 pkg Orange Jello
- 2 cups hot water
- 3 sliced bananas
- 1 1/4 cups cold water
- 1 large can crushed pineapple, drained
- 1 pkg small marshmallows
Mix Jello and add hot water. Add marshmallows & let set until melted. Add cold water & pineapple. Place in refrigerator in LARGE dish to congeal. After congealed, slice bananas over this mixture.
- 2 eggs, well beaten
- 5 teaspoons flour
- 1 cup sugar
- 2 cups pineapple juice (Need to buy can, as not enough juice from drained pineapple above)
Beat eggs well. Mix flour and sugar. Add to egg alternately with pineapple juice. When blended, cook over double boiler until thick. Cool and pour over first layer.
- 2 pkgs. Dream Whip
- 1 (8 oz.) Cream Cheese
- 1 cup milk
Soften cream cheese at room temperature. Chill milk. Add Dream Whip and beat until stiff. Whip cream cheese and Dream Whip. Pour over second layer. Cover third layer with coconut.
